Rote Beach House, Oenggaut
About
Welcome to Rote Beach House is a 4-bedroom villa located on the stunning beach of Lifulada which is halfway between Nembrala and Boa, set amidst lush coconut trees. This idyllic retreat offers direct access to a sheltered bay, perfect for swimming and relaxation, with calm waters protected from seasonal tradewinds, allowing for blissful beach days year-round.

Complementing these are two recently completed, modern bedrooms crafted from local stone, providing a contemporary touch.
Expansive upstairs living area, with a new balcony, offers breathtaking ocean views and a spacious dining and lounging area perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of this pristine island paradise.

Minimising our impact on the environment We try to minimise our impact on the environment, apart from the AC units the villa electricity is solar powered. In the event the main power from PLN the state power plant is off, you will have to use the fans in the rooms. Please be conscious of our solar power and try to charge your devices during the day, there is one plug for using heavy power drawing equipment in the kitchen that also uses the mains power.
Our hot water systems get their energy from solar power too, so your hot water is limited during the evenings. Our grey water is filtered into waste water gardens ensuring the water is used twice. Our clean water is trucked in from water springs ensuring that we don’t tamper with the water table.
Food is mostly bought at the local market, or from the fishermen and farmers that live in the area. Our staff come from the villages around the villa, and we have been working closely with the team at Nembrala’s Fatula Waste management site to help them with establishing proper waste facilities. Please separate your rubbish into the bins provided, that is one for organic matter, one for recyclables and the last if for waste that needs to be dumped (we are working on solutions for these too, and you can check www.roteisland.org for more information).
